into how Tara Lodge could cater for a special event if required. Your
host, Liz Holsted, has many years experience planning major events.

Surrounded by green fields, with views across the beautiful Tara district, they
cover several acres, including a secluded Poplar Walk, the elegant and formal
Long Lawn and its fountain, the Fairy Dell and the Four-Acre Wood, a stand of
native bush whose Kauri trees, according to local legend, have stood there for
over 700 years. There
is even a large paddock surrounded by trees that would be perfect for a jousting
match if "medieval" is your theme! Bookings available
